The Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, after coming into power launched Anna Bhagya Scheme 2023 for the people of Karnataka. Under this scheme, BPL and Antodaya card holders were provided free rice every month by the government but due to the shortage of rice supply by the government, this scheme is not being fully implemented. That’s why the CM in a meeting with the Food Supply Minister of India, announced on Wednesday that BPL and Antodaya cardholders will be provided financial help in the place of ration until they could buy rice until the ration is completed.
BPL and Antodaya card holders every member of the family will be given RS 170 per month by the government. This amount will be direct transfer to your bank account in DBT mode. The government has presented a budget of RS 32.94 crores for this scheme. Changes in this scheme have been launched by CM during an assembly meeting on 29th June 2023.
