The Pudhumai penn scheme was launched on 5th September 2022. The scheme was announced by Tamilnadu Chief Minister Mr. Stalin in the presence of Delhi chief minister Kejriwal in Chennai. He said that RS 1000 per month would be provided to girls students studying from 5th to 12th standard to complete their college-level studies. So that the girl students of Tamilnadu state can become self–reliant after completing their education.
