Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has launched the Haryana Tirth Darshan Yojana 2023 keeping in mind the convenience of the elderly. Under this scheme, all the elders above 60 years of age will be provided with free opportunity for date travel. All the elders above 60 years of poor families will be given the benefit of Haryana Tirth Darshan Yojana 2023.

Under this scheme, 70% of the pilgrimage expenses will be borne by the government and the remaining 30% will have to be borne by the beneficiary himself. Benefits Of Haryana Tirth Darshan Yojana

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has started the scheme keeping in mind the convenience of the elderly so that they must be given the benefit of a pilgrimage once in their life.

1. The main objective of this scheme is that the elders of Haryana must go on a pilgrimage once in their life.
2. Under this scheme, 70% of the expenditure will be borne by the government, out of which 30% of the expenditure will have to be borne by the beneficiary himself.
3. A person of any religion above 60 years can take advantage of this scheme.
4. In this, 250 senior citizens will be taken to visit any pilgrimage places.
5. The benefit of this scheme will be given only to BPL families and families living below the poverty line.
6.  Citizens will be made to visit more than 400 pilgrimage places under this Tirth Darshan Yojana 2023.

1. The applicant person must be a permanent citizen of Haryana State.
2. The applier age must be above 60 years.
