The Haryana Government has launched a scheme named Mera Bill Mera Adhikar to promote the taxpayer. This scheme has been launched by Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dhushyant Chautala on Saturday, 1^st July 2023. Under this scheme, whenever consumers buy goods from shopkeepers, they will have to take a bill from the shopkeepers, that bill will be submitted to the billing portal, after which the selected taxpayer will be given a reward of up to RS 30 Crore by the Haryana Government. Taxpayer’s reward will be announced through the lottery mechanism of the croups Fund. Along with the state of Haryana, this scheme has also been implemented by 5 other states.
