This scheme has been issued by the Ministry of Renewable Energy of India and this scheme is implemented in Kerala by the Electricity Department of Kerala. Under this people will be provided a 40% subsidy by the government. For 2023, the Electricity Department of Kerala has announced to take 75,000 applications, when their application is completed, then they will close this scheme and think about starting the 3rd phase of this scheme.
