The NMMS Scholarship scheme has been launched under the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India, under this scheme, those students who cannot continue their studies after the 8^th class due to their weak financial condition;  can apply for NMMS Scholarship Scheme. NMMS 8th Class Scholarship Point To Notice

1.  NMMS Scholarship scheme was started by the Government of India in 2008.
2. Students are selected for this scholarship based on State level exams.
3. Students selected for NMMS Scholarship will be given RS 1000 per month i.e. they will be given a scholarship of Rs 12,000 annually from the government.
4. Renewal of students for NMMS scholarships is done every year till she/he complete their 12^th.
5. The amount of this scholarship will be transferred directly to the student’s account through PFMH.
6. The application for this scholarship starts from August to November. 

State Level National Means–cum–Merit Scholarship Scheme Eligibility

1. The student applying for the scholarship must be a regular student of class 9^th.
2. Students must have 55% marks in the class 8^th final exam.
3. Students must have 60% marks in the 10^th board exam.
4. To continue the scholarship in class 12^th the student must have scored 55% on the final exam of the 11^th.
5. The applying student’s family income is less than 1.5 lakh per year.
