UP Electric Vehicle Subsidy Portal 2023

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi AadityaNath has launched the UP Electric Vehicle Subsidy Scheme 2023 to promote the purchase of electric vehicles. This scheme has been announced by the Chief Minister on 16^th July 2023. Under this scheme, all the people who have bought an electric vehicle after 14 October 2022 have been provided a subsidy by the government. The UP Government has kept the subsidy amount from RS 5000 to Rs 20 lakh under this scheme.

Only those customers can apply for this scheme, which has got their vehicle registration done on time. The last date for registration for this scheme is 14^th October 2023. A subsidy of 15% on the factory price of the electric vehicle will be provided to the individual.

UP EV Subsidy Main Key Points

1. The Government will provide a subsidy of RS 1 lakh to the first 25,000 4-wheeler electric vehicles purchased.
2. On the other hand, a subsidy of RS 5000 will be given by the government to 2 lahks for first bought 2 wheelers.
3. The Government will provide a subsidy of RS 20 lakh to 200 electric buses purchased earlier in UP.
4. A subsidy of RS 1 lakh will be provided on the first 1000 e-goods electric vehicles purchased.
5. The Subsidy will be provided on only one individual vehicle.
